I've actually been on a cleaning kick. I think we've just lived here long enough that it's time to go through everything. I would love to have every inch be organized. And of course work makes more work. I cleaned under the washer and dryer, and the hose at the base of the washer became disconnected and the next time I did laundry, I had a flood. It really wasn't too bad. It really could have been worse, for example if I wasn't home. Jackson was a great help. And then I thought the washer was still leaking so I called a great repair man who made it the same day, reasonable, and honest. He said nothing was wrong with the washer, but the dryer needed a part. He said they looked good. We have been a little worried just because of their age, and of course we asked about 100 questions about the new front loader washers and new refrigerators. Our refrigerator is older than the washer and dryer. It was worth it to get his opinion and ask our questions to someone who knows. And the flood also leaked downstairs in the master bathroom. There is evidence of a previous leak, but this made it more evident, and will need to be repaired. Lucky for our checkbook, Russ can do it, after vacation.
We had a good 4th of July. We spent it with family which is always fun. Garrett was scared of the fireworks at first, but once he realized they were far away and would not hurt him, he was okay.
We just spent a ton of money on the van, some small maintenance things and one huge challenging repair. I won't bore you with the details, but I learned a lot. Oh well.
We're counting the days until vacation :)

I'm counting the days too. Can't wait to see you!
:( do you have room for one more??
I'm glad you were home to catch the flood before it got too much worse. By the way, I will need that repair man's name and number.
Also, I'm so excited to be serving with you in the RS Prsdncy!! Yippee..
Sounds like it's been quiet eventful there. I totally agree with work makes more work. I get excited to tackle something, then a whole can of worms open...
good thing you have a fun vacation to look forward to!
I'm glad the flood wasn't too bad. What was the repairman's opinion on front loading washer/dryers? I have wanted one for the longest time.
The repairman said on a fridge, get whirlpool. And on the washer he said he would not get a front loader, and the simpler the washing settings the better. And on the dryer, he would look for the vent on the inside back of the dryer to be in the middle and circular.
