Caden Ledbetter - Event to Help

This sweet, cute little boy is about 6 months younger than Garrett. It breaks my heart that he has gone through so much already in his young life. However, he has an amazing mother. A small committee of folks have come together and planned a 5K run/walk as a fundraiser to benefit the Ledbetters. Our goal is to raise $45,000, the cost they are responsible for paying for the stem cell transplant Caden received.

We want to get the word out about this family event. The goal of the 5K FunRun is to get families out strolling their little ones or running, walking together to support Caden. We need runners. Participants are being asked to get pledges, either per lap ( and there are only 35 laps to complete) OR flat donation amounts. Those proceeds will go toward Caden's medical expenses, childcare/educational expenses for the twin brother, and research for Neuroblastoma and are tax dedutible. I was hoping you would be willing to spread the word through among your friends, neighbors, church family, business associates and relatives. Would you be able to help? Here are some of the details:

When: Saturday, April 12th

Where: Mulliken Middle School grounds at 407 & I35

(the building no longer operates as a middle school.)

Time: 9AM, 10AM and 11AM - the 5K itself only takes 30 minutes to complete. We are providing three different start times in order to accommodate multiple schedules, as we are in the thick of Spring sports!
