Well, it's been over a week since I've had time to sit down and catch up. I've been busy, and I'm tired!
Let's start with last Friday (a week ago).
Friday - I was invited to a Scrap Retreat, so I got up and got all my boxes of thousands of pictures in the van, and got ready to leave. I drove about an hour out into the wilderness, you know where the streets are gravel and numbered, not named. And there was little if any cell phone ability. We went to this great cabin and just had a good time. Our hostess cooked for us and cleaned it up - awesome! It was really nice weather, and it was so fun to eat outside in nature with the other ladies. I didn't actually do anything except for organize pictures and throw trash away. I did find a remote to a tv we had at some point in time, that was kind of funny. Saturday - I kept going through pictures, but my hands hurt and I was tired of looking at pictures, so I watched a movie while Inga sorted her pictures. I left after dinner. I had to get on a real road before dark or I may have still been driving around!
Sunday - We are lucky enough to have early morning church, so off we went. We came home and changed and headed to Moms for Dennis' birthday. I love being around all my family, and any niece or nephew that is still considered "baby". And after we got home, it was laundry time. So I stayed up doing that and getting ready to head down to visit with Julia and family.
Monday - The kids were packed before I got out of bed! I didn't even check their bags, they are getting so big, they did fine. So we loaded up and did a few errands before heading to meet Russ for lunch. Then on the road. We got to the Callahans home around 5:30pm. We got some dinner together and had a late night watching tv.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - We just had a relaxing time. We explored outside around a very small creek, saw the temple, ate, watched tv, took naps, and a few other things.
Thursday - We got up and headed home. I had to be home in time for BONKO. I won a fern! I can usually kill anything living so place your bets for how long it will live. It is happy and doing fine - Day 2. Then after, because I needed a little longer break, some of my fellow moms joined me in seeing Definitely, Maybe. Yeah, if you asked me if it was worth seeing, that's probably how I would respond. Not at all how I thought it would be. Jason and his kids arrived late Thursday.
Friday - Russ made pancakes for breakfast, I had to do some shopping since I really haven't been home in a week. I picked Carrie and the kids up and we visited for a few hours. I painted Presley's nails. I love painting her nails. And for some reason, I always want to paint mine the same color after... And I watched a sweet little boy from our ward for a few hours. He qualifies for the "baby" as mentioned above. And not long after that it was Russ' Rockband night, so he was out having some guy bonding time. If he gets his chores done and is good I let him leave the house, sometimes. (hehe)
Saturday (today) - Wow, another rough night for Garrett, he's had a cough and some wheezing. So we were up doing treatments, A LOT, so we slept in until 10am. So incredibly nice!!!! I have waited until the last minute, but I did run out and get the kids some easter stuff. The store wasn't as busy as I thought. And Jarah brought the kids over so she and Ty could see Riverdance for their anniversary. The kids have just played. It's such a nice day today.
And that brings us current. Wow, bless you if you have made it to the end of my boring, yet busy post. For sure, you have a blog addiction!

I loved it. I hope Garrett gets to be feeling better soon.
I give the fern 2 months! Maybe you could plant it with all that mulch Russ was going to use by August, last August that is, hehe. And Presley LOVES it when you paint her nails, highlight of her day.
Ok - so I'm just impressed with all that keeps you away from your blog. Oh to be so hyper-productive :) And I think your posts are reminiscent of my favorite book . . . so keep "boring" us!
